Online Therapy and Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy
1.a If you are unable to make an appointment please advise as soon as reasonably possible, with 48 business hours notice, and we will reschedule. Contact me on phone/text 027 3562 600, or nzangelaroberts@gmail.com
1.b A no show to an appointment, with no notification will result in a $45 fee.
1.c Please remember that a cancellation fee of $45 will apply if your appointment is cancelled less than 24 hours before your appointment.
1.d Please note repeated last minute cancellations or missed appointments with no notification may result in a full session being charged.
1.e Please note if you are late for your session it will proceed, however the session will end at the usual time out of respect for the next client.
1.f You are able to terminate therapy at any time by letting the Therapist know in writing.
1.g If your session requires rescheduling as a result of the Therapist being unwell or called away you will be notified as soon as possible.
Online Therapy benefits and challenges
2.a Therapy is provided by the online platform Zoom. The account utilised is the paid version and possesses the safety features of passcodes, waiting and locked rooms. The Therapist is not liable for any interruptions beyond their control related to the software use or internet stability.
2.b The Therapist ensures all physical spaces used for therapy are private and free from distraction. The Therapist utilises headphones to ensure the privacy of the clients.
2.c Clients are encouraged to ensure their rooms are private, headphones, microphone and video are used and, the room is free from distractions.
2.d The benefits of online sessions are; ease of access, the ability to attend from home in a familiar environment, free from travel requirements and timely delivery. Strong therapeutic space can be held via online sessions and the Therapist is a competent user of the platform. Partners may choose to be on different devices in different rooms if this is beneficial to the therapeutic process.
2.e The challenges of online sessions are; the need for stable internet, and appropriate working technology such as headphones, video cameras, and microphones. Clients are strongly encouraged to become familiar with the platform Zoom by testing all equipment before the session to ensure the session is utilised with the best use of time.
2.f Clients are responsible for responsibly filing the Zoom session link provided at the time of booking online, and accessing this on time to begin therapy. Links are provided each time at the time of booking. The link can be resent if the Therapist is contacted via email.
